Many of the pictures I took on this trip (except those of ME at every summit) are on the Lost Boys blogspot as one of the buttons….along with a bazillion other pictures from others in our band. At some point our tour organizer, Leslie, will post his trip blog on his own site. Among his many, many talents he does book reviews so I look forward to his read for he is factual, historical, and funny.

The trip across the pond was monster fun. Blogging about it was a bust. No public e-connectivity there in the south of France, no WiFi (say wee-fee)….just SOO much wine.  The path had it’s “wiggly bits” and it’s “cheeky lumpy bits” as our blond Brit Helen tour guide would describe things like the Col de Marie Blanque,  The Aspin’, d’Aubisque, the Tourmalet, Mont Ventoux. Couple of pix attached. Bike geeks know where they were taken. That’s Brett Ensor and I together there at the iconic tower.

Geek Squad

I just joined the Geek Squad! Perhaps some may have thought that I had been a member for a long, long time but I just got officially initiated YESTERDAY! My super sweetie daughter-in-law, Tara, thought that I should have a helmet camera for cycling and joined with Marsha to gift me this. Some piddling yesterday walking outside around the house with this strapped to my head while talking to myself (neighbors are used to that) & then plugging it into a TV to watch was successful. No computer hookup yet. Maybe you can chug up Ventoux with me, descend down the backside, sail off the edge into………………….
